SDG3-Vet Project: Introduction

The project aims to enhance vocational education and training (VET) in the healthcare sector by integrating cultural competence and multicultural health perspectives into curricula. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG-3: Good Health and Well-being) to prepare students for the global healthcare workforce. The project will develop training resources for educators, conduct research on best practices, and foster collaboration between VET institutions, healthcare providers, and multicultural communities.

  • Objectives

- Equip VET Trainers & Educators: Provide educators with the tools and knowledge to integrate diverse cultural perceptions of health into their curricula. 
- Enhance Teaching of Multicultural Health Concepts: Train VET educators to critically analyze and teach multicultural health perspectives, fostering inclusivity.
- Improve Health Outcomes: Ensure VET curricula incorporate multicultural health practices to improve patient care
- Strengthen Networks Between Stakeholders: Establish connections between VET institutions, healthcare providers, and multicultural communities to better address the needs of diverse populations.
