How to Manage Challenging Behaviours in the Classroom

The Course

This course equips educators, support staff, and caregivers with
essential skills to support students with autism by exploring
evidence-based strategies grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA).

Participants will learn to create Individualized Behaviour
Support Plans, implement ABA-based interventions to manage challenging
behaviors, and foster inclusive learning environments.
The course covers autism characteristics, functional behavior assessments, proactive and reactive strategies, and legal and ethical considerations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of how to effectively support and empower students with autism.
